I have spent many hours looking through the US Genweb cemetery sites for Woodruff, Thompson, King and Costner graves. As I continue to look, I’ll save any Grey or Gray listings as well, if you would like. cdq…

I’m a fifth generation Gray no I didn’t get the last name but neither did my dad my grandfather decided not to pass it down. I will pick it back up when I get married. But just reading your cemeteries makes me curious. A few of my relatives are buried in Shady Grove in MS a lot are buried in MS. I’m just wondering if you have ran it to the GA side of the family? They are making me confused I get connected with C. C. Gray Charles -Carter Gray married to Hannah Gray.

I haven’t, Elizabeth. My great-aunt apparently had been to a Gray family house in Williamston (?), SC because she noted a similar house on a newspaper photograph. She died long before I got to work on the family history. There are so very many Grays in SC/GA!
